The Barn at Kennedy Farm in Lizton, IN is quickly becoming a wedding venue favorite! It is a photographers dream location and when you add in a super fun couple like Janel and Stefan, it just can’t get much better than that. The talented associate Jennifer knocked this one out of the park!

The Couple

I (Sarah) had the privilege of actually attending this wedding with my husband because I’ve known Janel since college! She was lucky enough to have me as her RA the first year at Indiana Wesleyan University. We had a blast that year of school and I appreciate her friendship to this day. Stefan and Janel often get to dog-sit for Hoosier and Haley :) (my precious pups!) …I’m pretty sure they were bummed we left them home for the wedding ;)

Janel met Stefan at church and if you know these two, you know that when Stefan looks at his bride you truly feel how much he loves her. It is a sight to behold.

The Ceremony

The vows were spoken on the gorgeous grounds of The Barn at Kennedy Farm. The sun was shining and the views made it an absolutely perfect setting. As Janel wiped away Stefan’s tears, they made their commitment in front of family and friends.

The Reception

The Barn was a perfect, rustic setting for a July wedding. Romantic and classic. The entrances were made, toasts given, dinner served, and first dances taken. Fireworks were set off and sparklers were lit as the sun set. It was the perfect ending to not only an amazing wedding day but the 4th of July weekend.

Janel and Stefan chose to wait to see each other until the ceremony. This was a PERFECT way to get out the nerves but wait until the ceremony to ‘see’ each other. It was such a special, romantic moment!
